The lost art of "attention to detail"

The lost art of "attention to detail"

Today at work I received a publication in my mail - a publication put out by my department, Information Technology, a reference guide for all of the resources we provide to the campus. Fifteen pages of all the different groups and the services they offer, how to contact them, etc. Featured prominently on the cover is a shot of one of my computer classrooms, filled with young students intently listening to their instructor and following along on their own computers. Let's zoom in and see what the girl in the bottom left of the picture is working on, aka the most prominent person in this photo:

That's right, a crossword puzzle, with headphones on to drown out the professor and working on a crossword puzzle. Were there no better shots we could have used, maybe photoshopped out her screen? I can't believe this made it past the designer, editor, printer, etc without anyone either noticing or caring. Good job everyone, I look forward to next year's edition!
